Landlord Electrical Safety Certificates & PAT Testing

As well as everything outlined on our domestic page here, we also carry out:

  • Electrical Safety Certificates (EICR): Faulty and old wiring is one of the main causes or electrical fires in the home. You can reduce the risk of a fire by regularly checking the condition of your cables, switches, sockets and other accessories. During an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), we inspect the condition of existing electrical installation, identifying any issues against the national safety standards. It is recommended that fixed electrical installations are inspected and tested at least once every five years, or at the end of a tenancy, whichever comes first.   • Rapid Response: We provide a rapid repair service to electrical problems reported by tenanted properties. Problems can range from tripping fuse boards, to circuit damage caused by leaks, lighting failures and faulty electric showers. For urgent works, we offer same-day service and confirm the appointment time by text message.
  • Portable Appliance Testing: We provide PAT testing for any electrical items supplied at properties, such as kettles, toasters and washing machines. Full records are kept of all the tests we have carried out and we will notify you when re-testing is due, if you require this service.
